Would BIOS setting PCIe Active State Power Management be used by Radeon 5000 series?

PCIe Active State Power Management is disabled by default in my BIOS (EVGA board).

Would enabling that allow the new Radeon 5000 series cards take advantage of lower power levels when not being used heavily for gaming?

Does it do anything useful or is it best left Disabled?

Gotta love it: Ask an actual technical question here and nobody has an answer. Postulative talk about which uber GPU is going to be best six months from now? 5,000 replies. :p

The 5000 series has power managment built in. Auto downclocks itself.
Well mine does. I dont see and reason to enable this.
