Bussey held a gun on the would-be thief and ordered him to return the furniture. Bussey didn't have a telephone, so he made 45-year-old Roy Andrew Gendron mow the lawn with a push mower until he could think of a plan to alert authorities.

That's freaking great.

What I don't get is why he didn't have a way to contact the police...

Who doesn't have a cell phone these days?

Viper GTS <-- Concealed carry photographing/fingerprinting in 5 days :D

It would have been funnier if the burgaler was averse to yard work and instead replied "shoot me!" at the victim's demands.
