Would anyone know what size the HD is inside this external drive?

For anyone who has this drive I just wanted to know if it has the standard 3.5 drive. Cause these are smaller than their other ones and I can't find those at BB.

I am getting an external Drive for backups and I want to know if the drive is interchangable cause some other brands are.

And I mostly want a seagate, but if WD has a better deal on some e-tailer sites than I would spring for that one.

80GB too 160GB is all I really need by the way.

it would probably be cheaper to buy an external enclosure for a hd and then buy the hd seperate, atleast in my experience the margin of profit on external hard drives is very high and it makes alot more sense to jsut buy a 160gb hd and an enclosure that supports its interface

if you serach online you will be sure to find them, i've seen some posts on the forums about them

May be a dumb qustion, but do the encloures come with software to put on the unformatted HD? Cause I am thinking that if I plugged in just a bare HD windows may not reconize it.

they don't make 160 GB 7200 rpm notebook drives

and if they did... $130 would be a steal for one
