I have many relatives along with my grandparents in India and if you guys would be interested maybe we could setup a small AT Fund in which I would personally match a certain amount of money.

We would send the money to someone (most likely a relative) in India who would provide us with proof that you all agree would be acceptible. This is just an idea and I'd obviously have to run this by everyone involved but I think it could work well because unlike large organizations there wouldn't be any administrative fees involved and you would be told exactly where and how your money is helping others.

We'll work on the details later but I just wanted to start off by gauging how many of you would be interested.

Haha, another GB of RAM wouldn't hurt... 😉

Seriously though, I will really only do this if I can prove to everyone that their money was put to use. I'm not sure exactly how yet, but that'll of course be decided before we open this up to any donations at all.
 
where in India are your people? I imagine pakistan would need the most help... India should be able to handle herself.

They're in New Delhi, supplies and aid would be sent to Pakistan, it's a neighboring country with close relations even if they're not the best of relations so I'd imagine they would be helping them out.

My grandfather on my dad's side was born in Pakistan.

Also, if supplies are purchased and sent over I'd provide pictures, which might be the most "trusted" method or something, anyone else have any ideas?

ok... how will logistics be handled? I am not questioning you intentions, but other than giving it to the Pakistani embassy in Delhi, I don't see how stuff can get to the NWP. Do we have any people on the boards from pakistan?
