Hearing this threads about pussifcation of america is starting to make me wonder how much do companies car about employee motivation, efficiency, comments on their work etc. If I were to tell my employer to only tell me what I need to work on and instead of saying what I do well just say that I'm not close to getting fired or anything like that etc..? Basically wanting to only know the bad news. Is it weird to only want to know the bad news when it comes to your self? IMO, I'd rather hear what I do poorly at so that I can fix it than hear what I do well, otherwise I'll likely stop doing that ironically enough.. Why does that happen anyways?

They don't care unless they want to get rid of you. Then they hope that there are reasons to justify it.
