Would an AX750 be enough for two 7950s?

I already own the power supply and I was going to buy the 7950 this Friday. Would I be okay with an OC of 1100-1200mhz?

you are not just going to power the video cards so you need to list ALL your components when asking for psu advice. also this should probably go in the power supply section.

Considering you will power a i7 rig with these 2 monsters, yeah it can power them without problem if you don't OC any of the components.
Else get a beefier PSU.

I'm running 2 HD 7950 with a TX 650 w/o any OC (specs on sig). So far so good without any issues.

With a PSU like yours, you should be fine.

just because you have wattage does not mean its a good idea to use all of it though. a power supply at very heavy loads will work harder creating more heat and fan noise and shortening its life a bit. but yes you can do a typical oc on everything with your particular setup and still have decent wiggle room. btw 2 7950s running at 1200 or even 1100 would use way more wattage than 279 total.

I have used a ThermalTake 730W 80+ with an OC FX8150 @ 4.7GHz and 2x HD6950 @ 810MHz with no probs.

Since the HD7950 consumes less or equal to HD6950 + you have a Core i5 i will say that the AX750 will be just fine.
