would an AT&T Nokia 8260 work on Bellsouth?

The 8260 is a tdma(tri mode) phone..
the 8290 is identical except it runs on a different frequency(right term???) It is a dual band i believe.

Just see what they use, sprint is dual band 900(analog) and 1900mhz(digital). ATT is 900 1800 and some other one(extended digital). Cant remember what exactly.
