Would an Alpha 8045 + a quiet panaflo cool better than a Vantec 6027D?

I'm currently using the Vantec 6027D on my t-bird @ 10x145 and getting idle temps of 38 and load at 43. The vantec isn't *too* loud (no loud scream/whine like my old black label 38cfm) but it isn't "near silent" either. I know an Alpha 8045 + a panaflo L1A would obviously be more quiet, but would it cool as good as, if not better than my current HSF? I loaned a friend my ASII so I'm not sure what my temps would be with it over the generic goop i'm using now.

Thanks in advance,

Justin

I don't know about the performance of the vantec, but I can tell you that the Alpha 8045 + panaflow is nearly silent. Especially when you try to hear it over the disk drives, case and PS fans. The 8045 has constantly received excellent reviews when it comes to heat dissipation. I bought the 845 because I could use a lower CFM fan that is quieter.
