I am still considering a Shuttle XPC SB61G2V4 to shrink and silence the computer without giving up too much on performance. I plan on using a Nvidia 6800 AGP card. However, the fan on the VGA card is pretty loud.
Two possible aftermarket replacement VGA coolers are Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev.3 and Zalman VF700. The former quoted a height of 31mm and the latter 30mm. The existing OEM cooler is about 12mm.
The AGP slot in the SB61G2 is near the edge or side of the case so the fan can draw fresh air through the case vents. I saw some pictures online that there is a bit of room but not much. Does any one know if the two coolers above would fit?
