Would a Zalman ZM-NB47J be ok on my northbridge?

Right now I have a Vantec Iceberg Copper on my northbridge. I needed it because I was using the onboard graphics on my mobo.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I bought an HIS Excalibur 9800 Pro.
My overclock improved since my northbridge relenquished graphics duties to the new card, and now I am wondering if it may be time to remove that whiney northbridge fan!

Any of you try the Blue Zalman on an NF7-M or -S ?

BTW - It would butt up next to an SLK800U. I'm not really sure about fit.

I use a Zalman NB47J on my NF7-S R2 and it works GREAT!! I'm very pleased with it and the 32J that preceded it, too.

I use an Alpha PAL 8045 heatsink to cool my CPU and there are no issues with the two coolers interfering with each other.

I got one on my Gigabyte i875 board as the stock fan became noisy after a couple of months.

Running Northbridge @ 250mhz with Zalman no probs.

Passive cooling is the way to go. Wouldn't expect any probs with on on NF2 either.
