Would a Wireless NIC for a Pocket PC work with Apple Airport?

My school has airports all around, next school year ill probly have an Ipaq or simmilar PocketPC will one of those wireless NICS get me online with it? or would I need the LAN admin to do something for the airport to let me on?
 
The network admin would need to give you the encryption code, and of course you'll need IP and DNS addresses if the airport access points don't give those to you automatically. You'll also need to make sure you have a wireless NIC that supports the same type of encryption as the airport access points - I believe they are 40-bit, but I'm not sure.
 
my school is very big, so does this mean I will have to change the nics settings each time I go to a different class?
