Would a TV tuner card work?

Does anyone know if a TV tuner card will work in my computer. My Cable provider requires a Cable Box to "descramble" the channels. I'm paying for my cable, but will my computer decode it??

Nope...current digital/HD TV tuners for the PC can only tune unencrypted channels...this is usually limited to HD locals and maybe a few (very few) others, though there are exceptions. (For example, on the cable system at my mom's house, I pick up well over 50 digital cable channels that for some reason aren't encrypted)

With a PC TV tuner you will be limited to analog channels plus whatever digital/HD channels aren't encrypted.
