Ok I'm looking to give my old lan party box a peformance boost as quickly and painless as possible and a new vid card seems the way. I gotten conflicting info in the past wheter or not I could use a Ti4200 in my old abit be6II mobo. I know this my be a bit of overkill for this mobo, but Im planing on swapping out this mobo with a spare k7s5a mobo and xp1800+ I have and a good ti4200 would work nicely with that set up but in the interurm the boost in performance would be nice on it current set up. Would a ti4200 work with this older bx mobo, and if it would not work please explain why? Any constructive advice would be welcome thanx :)

It should work, since, basically, the GF4 cards are evoluted GF3 cards; and I've had a GF3 Ti200 in an ASUS P2B-F working without a problem.

All the GF4 cards should support AGP 2x mode (which is the maximum on the BE6II) and there shouldn't be a problem with it.
