Would a softmodded card work just as well as a original?

If the 9500np had a successful softmod and then a sucessful overclock past 9700pro speeds and then a successful flash (hypotheticly) would it proform just as well as a normal 9700pro? I have wondered this for a while.

It should perform just the same as a stock 9700pro.

I've used a Sapphire 9700 pro and my softmodded Connect3d "9700" pro. There is no difference in framerate in virtually any game.
