Would a gtx 780 TI be enough to power this

Most games probably (though Crysis 3 could do with a bit lower settings), but search for the 5760x1200 scores on Bench (http://anandtech.com/bench/) and add a bit to account for 1080p instead of 1200.

Oh right 780 TI is not on there. Guess you could compare it to, say, the 690.

ok I just wanted to be sure I Did not want to get low frames per second because i was using 3 monitors and not having enough gpu power.
the only thing that draws me some to amd is the extra memory that may came in a fatactor later on when using more than one monitor.
This was also the reason I asked if i would have two run sli or crossfire to make sure I had enough memory on the vid card

I want a three way monitor set up and wondered if one gtx 789 TI would be enough to power 3 of these or if i would have to go sli or wait until the r-290s dropped down in price?

Short answer: yes, 780ti will be enough to power it. Go for an aftermarket model if you're able, once it is overclocked it is ridiculously fast. Faster than the GTX 690, even.

It depends on the game you play and also gaming on more than one monitor may also require another card, so the safest bet is to go sli or cf. Crysis 3 is demanding as well as the upcoming witcher 3 so a second is a must to max them at higher resolutions but a single monitor like you listed is no problem.

So long as you are willing to turn down some settings in certain games 5760x1080p is fine on a single 780ti. Its not ideal but this card is often not fully used on 1080p anyway. Not all games will run well on 3 screens and many will require lower settings but its perfectly possible.

Are you joking? Its a top of the pile card, with a whole lot going for it except price :). Those monitors has nothing special that it won't handle them with ease.

are you joking?

I'm not particularly satisfied with a 780 powering just one 1080p120 monitor...

I think a single 780 Ti would be fine if trying to power a triple 1080 setup if the expectation is only for 60Hz... but not for these 144Hz ASUS monitors...

granted, it is all about expectation. I've fallen pretty hard for the motion clarity of lightboost, so I really need to try and maintain more than 100fps

but yeah, if the OP really wants to push 5760x1080 @ 100+ fps, well he's likely going to need more than a 780Ti if he also isn't willing to sacrifice on settings too much. Oh yeah, will also need a killer CPU as well, as I'm CPU limited more often than not when trying to push 120fps.

Of course a 780Ti and the G-Sync upgrade for these monitors when G-Sync arrives would probably be the best compromise (although that could get pricey)

just saying
3gb vram
some last gen. games can't be maxed with one card at 1440.
wait for after market 290's to hit x 2
or go 780 sli ,like me , any cards just get them cheap.

for 1080px3 screens with 144hz refresh I'd recommend looking into SLI and more vram.

2gb's is fine for 1080p. 3gb's is not fine, or marginal, for 1080px3.

This makes sense.

Could you elaborate more on "motion clarity of lightboost"? Need a unique monitor for this or just 120hz+

I will be using this for gaming and watching blue ray movies sometimes.
So the reason for 3 monitors is they If I want to play 3 different accounts i should be able to or if I want to play one game like the last tomb Raider or Bioshock it should look good.

Also a movie should look good too.

I have tried a 2560 X 1440p monitor and yes it dose look good but it seems slow at some times this is with a gtx 680. I tried watching movies and it just doesn't look good if is smooth fast moving.
