Would a green cold cathode look good through a blue window?

If I get a green cold cathode, would it be better to get a clear window or a blue window? Anyone have any good pics of colored windows with cathodes in them?

clear window will make a green case.
blue window will make a blue case.
yellow window will make a yellow case.
red(?) cathodes and yellow window will make an orange case.
blue cathodes and yellow window will make a green case.
etc.

if you want to get a mixed color, I think you will have to use primary colors. other wise the window color will
leech out the cathode color.

If it's a really heavy tint, it would probably look better with clear... otherwise use a really bright light and/or a dual kit with the blue tint.

It depends on how dark/light the window is tinted. UV lights don't produce a lot of visible light, obviously... and any glowing that they produce may be covered up if you have too dark a window. I would just go with a clear + UV.

Ok thanks. Also if I got a tinted window I would have to order a window kit. I think I am just going to go to autozone or homedepot and get some plexiglass cut for me.

Wouldn't a blue window only let primarily blue light through, resulting in a dim color? Correspondingly, a yellow window would transmit primarily red or green light.

Yeah... you should also pick up some rubber moulding to go around the edges... it will give it a much more professional look. :)

Yeah is there anywhere else to get this stuff but online? It's so expensive.
