Would a Dremel cut PCB well (video card)?

I've done it (used the sanding tool to sand off a useless section of a PCB that wouldn't fit). I had no troubles at all. It smelled a bit funky though.

Teh Goggles will be present, and it will be done outside to avoid that nasty fibreglass dust. 🙂

I'm looking to make some initial cuts to get a large chunk of PCB out, then some sanding afterwards to smooth out the edges.

You wouldn't have that much dust but the dust that you did get would go everywhere so outside is a good idea. If its col the garage would work well to. Fiberglass is cool stuff but it itches like crazy. o well, guess thats what I get for working at a fiberglass shop. Its cool tho cause I can make anything that I want. I'm just rambling now so I'll shutup. But ya the dremel would work well. Careful they can cut real fast tho.

smacks

long sleeves, long pants. rubber gloves, ect.

if you get a tiny peice of that fiber glass in you, you'll be itching like a mad man till it's gone

And make sure you don't through any traces hidden in the layers.😉
