Would a dog understand what's going on if 2 people were

Maybe he does. But do you think a dog would care if you watched him? probably not.
Now ask your self what would you think if you saw your dog doing some other dog? You'd probably just sit there and be proud of him. Well as long as she is a hot b!tch.

They can definitely tell that something's going on. It can take them a few times to learn to leave you the hell alone while you're doing it, too.

I think most would go "yeah, and those assholes had to cut off my berries so I don't get to do that."

i dont think dogs understand whats going on when they are having sex with each other let alone watching humans. Dogs are animals they understand pain and pleasure and danger.

My dogs tend to get quite agitated. I tend to think they think we are fighting. The smell of sex may have something to do with it too... <shrug>

I do not think they are watching and thinking to themselves, "Get some!"

I don't know. My border collie is very very smart. She knows her toys by name and always knows when we are going to take her for a walk. I have no doubt she would understand at least somewhat. She may not realize that sex is a means for procreation but I'm sure she has some sort of understanding.

My dog doesn't care, but the 2 cats go nuts, & strangely hop all around the room.

I heard once that corn grows taller & produces more around the area where the farmer couple has sex in the field.

i think their knowledge goes a bit beyond that. look at dolphins. they have saved the lives of humans, without being trained too. my grandpa even, had been pushed to shallow water once, reasons unknown, possibly because a shark may have been present. dolphins are very smart for not being human. and the reason i mention dolphins? it is suggested through fossil evidence that dolphins evolved from a dog-like creature. maybe dogs evolved from that same creature too at some major split for that creature.
