Would a A64 X2 @ 2400-2500mhz bottleneck a single 1900xt

I'm excited about conroe and all...but I beginning to think I might be better served just picking up a 3800+ X2 and overclocking it to 2.4-2.5mhz for the time being. I'm thinking of grabbing a 1900xt when prices come down a bit...as those seem to do well for oblivion. I'm running the game at native res of 1600x1050.
 
x1900 xt is a great card to go with either of those processors.

What's your current rig now? I wouldn't upgrade to anything but a conroe really if you're coming from a 2.2 ghz+ A64.

An x850 xt is simply too slow for your resolution.
 
Then I'd definitely grab an x1900xt now (theyre less than $300 AR on hotdeals). By the benchmarks here there you need all the graphics power you can get at 16x12.

Text. You have about a 3800+ I assume. Even if you could take a x2 3800 to 4400 levels its still not a huge upgrade.
