Would a 2005fpw be a bad move now?

Hey all.. I am looking at possibly getting the DELL 2005FPW. They have a sale going on until tomorrow where the price is well under 400 bucks, so its currently a steal. That said, I know the 2007FPW is now shipping, which gives me pause. Are there significant differences between these monitors?

While I don't *need* the monitor until September, waiting on the 2007FPW gives me pause because (1) the magic price point for me is < $400 and I'm not so sure the 2007 will drop that low within that amount of time and (2) the 2005fpw is a well reviewed monitor, using the same panel as the apple cinema display, while the 2007 is something of an unknown quantity.

What I'd hate to see happen is DELL to run out of 2005s, then the 2007 end up being not much better (or worse!) than the 2005, yet still be substantially more expensive. Thoughts?

2005 is a great, if dated, monitor. get it if you don't NEED anything on the 2007.

No one I've seen has been able to find HDCP on the 2007's spec sheets.

Hmm.. I definitely don't need HDCP on a monitor, as I do nothing TV related with my main computer - that's all through my TV and HTPC. All I'm looking for is a nice primary monitor that is good for every day uses and gaming - and this is what I understand the 2005 to be. So, I think I'm going to go ahead and pick one up before they run out :).
