WoT: Anandtech Clan?

I know there is a HUGE on going thread about world of tanks. However, I didn't want this to just get lose inside of it.

Is there an Anandtech clan, or interest in one forming?

I currently have a T29 I am working on upgrading and of course moving further up the line. I have a tricked out Ram 2, and T82 I play a lot for fun.

Medium side, about to unlock the e8 sherman, and plan to eventually get the Patton.

I have a 10 man ventrillo server, and can play usually most times of the day.

So failing an Anandtech clan, I would like to join another.

I could be interested in a clan, but if my real life friends are on they take precedence.

In my garage I have the KV, KV3 (unlocked IS but have no credits), S-51, Tiger I, 3001P, Hummel, Stug III (unlocked JagdPanzer IV), Panzer III.

What does a clan really accomplish? Is it treated like a big platoon? Will we be tossed into clan v clan games where all they will have is tier 10's?
 
US, EU or RU? I've been dabbling on all three... as well as RU Public Test and EU Supertest 😛

Clans aren't that special until you start doing 15vs15 clan battles to take and hold territory... which earns your clan gold.
 
Is the capture the territory in right now or only in beta?

Never really thought about joining a clan and dedicating hours for clan wars. I'm trying to cut down on my WOT hours, not add to them. 🙂
