Worthy Uprade? Please give me your opinion...

I currently have:

Athlon XP 1800+
1.25GB RAM
A7N8X-E Deluxe



Is there a worthy CPU/MB/RAM upgrade that can be purchased for around $350? I'd like the MB to have Firewire but I can work around that. I do general computing, some gaming and video/photo editing.

More Info as requested:

Radeon All-In-Wonder (Will Upgrade Seperately)
Western Digital 200GB PATA (Boot Drive)
3 Maxtor 160GB PATA (NO RAID) (2 Data 1 Backup)

ya theres stuff that you could get for 350 that runs alot faster than what you have now.

350 for CPU/MB and RAM, yes you can get something prolly a good chunk better..


you could go Sempron 3100, a great OCer for 120~

DFI Lanparty nf3 great overclocker for 130~

Then you got 100 bucks for 512 of good ram...

You can o/c pretty well with that... or not have still have a lot better performance (all though more RAM would help a lot)

well at frys a64 2800+ cpu/mobo combo for around 180-200
and $100 for pc3200 value ram
