Kinda cool, Kind of cool, None, Couple of months.

Honestly I don't think it serves and Use. Don't know for sure though. Can Anyone with a Asus SLI Premium run a couple Benchs with a 7800GTX in both 8x and 16x PCI mode. Last time anyone checked was back with the FX 5950s adn such so I do wonder if its possible that has changed but I am guessing it will be 3 or 4 generations before the will use up 8x PCI-e bandwidth. But when that happens the will already be using 32 or even 64x PCIe slots.

the one immediate benefit of this technology right now is that the pricing change will allow some enterprising M/B maker to produce a mATX SLI board.

personally i would wait for the nForce5 in the hope that it has 40 PCI-E lanes and decent audio.

hmm... if someone does the test topweasel suggested, i'd be very interested to see the results...

also, regarding audio, kind of off topic, but when is creative's X-Fi supposed to actually come out in a card?
