My current specs are listed below in my signiture, I need to know if it's worth upgrading to this system:

AMD 64 FX-55
2 GB Corsair PC3200 RAM
430 Watt PSU
ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI
2 Combo drives, I can care less
Linkworld 3210-04-C2628 Case
200GB 7200rpm HDD

Any recommendations for the hdd, drives, or other parts.

I think you should wait to see how the AMD M2 platform is shaping up. For now your system is more than enough for current titles. Because for the games that are CPU limited your Frames Rates will be high enough for good gaming, and games like Fear and COD2 which are largely GPU limited at high resolutions upgrading the cpu won't make any difference either. If I was you I would wait it out for AMD M2 and Geforce 8 to launch by the summer-fall 2006 and then go out for an upgrade.

Just my 2 cents.

I'd keep everything you have. You basically wont gain any framerates since you are going to be graphics card limited.

Next time you upgrade, I'd go dual-core, probably new AMD or Intel socket, DDR2, and R600 or faster graphics card.

You really have no weak points in your system. I'd probably overclock the processor for now since it's just fun to do that :)
