I current have an Athlon XP-M 2500 oc'ed to 2.3GHZ , Radeon 9800 pro and 512MB of OCZ ram. Do you think upgrading to an 939 Athlon 64 3000+ or 3200+ and Nforce 3 motherboard would give me a nice increase in gaming or should i wait till something newer comes out?

My guess is that you would notice little if any difference between what you listed. If I were you and had some $$ to upgrade to improve performance I would first: Get another stick of 512MB. Your 9800Pro is by all means still a great gamers card which probably runs 90% of games just fine for 90% of people out there. If you still need better gaming performance, sell that 9800Pro and get a 6800 or something along those lines.

ya i was thinking another 512 would probably help more then going to an Athlon 64 at this time. Actually what i need is a quiter CPU cooler that will still allow me to overclock.. tired of my computer sounding like a jet.. any suggestions on a good quiet CPU cooler for overclocking?

Zalman 7000Alcus work great, nice and quiet and great cooling (or so I've heard). Otherwise you could get an XP-120 if you mobo can fit one and a quiet 120mm fan.
