Worth upgrading from the MX700 to the MX1000?

After getting sick of the apple one button wireless mouse, i switched back to using the MX Duo (w/o using the keyboard).... So technically, the MX700 🙂

Anyway, is the MX1000 a big improvement over the MX700?
 
The sidescrolling wheel button is really handy, especially if you work a lot with big excel files. Otherwise though while the 1000 is generally better in all other ways (ie shape, charging), it's not a night and day thing. They are both great mice.
 
you probably won't notice a huge difference between the two. I have an MX1000 and would love to have one for work too but we only use M$ products here 🙁
