Worth to change from KK266r to EP-8K7A+

Im running a 1g MP@1305 on my kk266r. Im building a friend a EP-8K7A+ with a 1.4 tbird. He wants my 266r now, but im not sure about a couple things. Is it worth the hassle to change? Trade Infinion pc133 256mb for his micron or cruicial(cant remember which i ordered for him) pc2100 256mb. Even swap.

one question, will my raid setup work if I just switch the hdds over? Or will I have to run setup again? I know I should run setup because the MB software, but I have has success just removing the devices from the system properties and letting W98 see everything on the new MB.

Setting up the OS again isnt a big deal. My biggest consearn is will I be able to OC the EP-8K7A+ as well. With the KK266 not supporting the MP, even with the newest bios im still running at 100fsb with the memory +33.

Any help is appreciated in this decision.

i'm on the same boat as u really. i just sold my kk266 850mhz 512mb. looking to ddr but i think i'm gonna wait 4 kt266a first.
what bios version u runnin. the new one is supposed to have mp support. currently im using the may 15 bios and the has done my 1.4ghz up to 1.61ghz (140x11.5) 1.98V.
