Worth the upgrade?

I just obtained (2) Geforce 7600 GT 256mb video cards. I was thinking of either placing one of each in my 2 pc's or doubling them up in one and going SLI. Here's my current rig:

P4 3GHZ
2GB DDR2
Radeon X800 256MB Video
Abit AA8XE Intel 925XE Based LGA775 ATX Mainboard FSB1066, Dual DDR2-533, PCI Express, Gigabit LAN, SATA 150 RAID, IEEE1394, HD Audio

I was thinking of swapping out the motherboard so that I end up with this:
P4 3GHZ
2GB DDR2
GeForce 7600 GT 256 x2 in SLI mode
MSI P4N Sli Motherboard, NForce4 SLI chipset.

I know the GeForce 7600GT is a somewhat better card than the x800 and I've already seen a small performance bump in gaming by just dumping my x800 and going with a single 7600GT, my question is, would I see that much of a performance boost in gaming by going with the MSI SLI setup as opposed to my current single card setup? I guess the other option is to scrap it all and start over, go with an AMD dual core sli setup but then we're talking WAY more than the 120$ I'll be out to just swap mobo's and go SLI. Any thoughts?
