worth the upgrade? 600m ---> E1705?

What do you guys think? i'm not too sure if i actually need it...but here's what i plan to do.

I am a web developer and do the occasional graphic work...my current setup:

dothan 2.0 centrino
512ddr
60gb hd
64mb ati 7000
res. 1440x1050

what i'm looking at
t2300 1.6 duo core
512ddr2
80gb hd
256mb nvidia 7800
res. 1920 x 1200
cost: $1600

any suggestions or comments? is it worth it? or should i just add more ram to my 600m? and call it a day

Im sure you will like it...I have the E1705's cousin the 9300 and I love it.
