worth the money going to a xp2000 from 1.33 T-bird?

Did a quick search and didn't see anything so I though I would ask the question. Running a ECS K7S5A and a 1.33 T-bird w/Gainward 4200 64 meg, 512 Crucial 2100 and Win ME. Play mostly games(UT2K3, BF1942, SOF2). Will I see a noticable improvement going to a xp2000 (newegg $95 retail)? I have had marginal luck O/C'ing so I really don't want to do the xp1600 thing then be stuck with 1700 or less. Will be upgrading the mobo as soon as funds are there. Thinking nforce2 when they are available. Have had problems with Via in the past so kinda staying away.

Thanks for the replies.

I would say no, to answer the title to your thread, it's not worth the $$$. Are you not able to oc your T-bird past 1430? If you're not happy with the way the games are running though, the processor would be the thing to upgrade. You could notice the difference between the CPU's, but I have reservations about whether it's worth it. Perhaps you can get more for your money if you wait to upgrade everything at once. Good luck with the upgrading. Peace.
