Worth Keeping an 80gb SATA 1gb/s

Hey all,
I was very fortunate to pick up an i7 920 system on craigslist and my current rig is an AMD 3200+ agp system (feel free to laugh.. i did)

The kit i purchased included:
i7 920
intel x58mobo
6gb crucial ram
antec 300 case
550w (i am putting my PC power and cooling 750 in place of this)
DVDRW sata

I thought about putting my 80gb sata I have from my old system but figured... what the hell, i saved some money on this rig so I purchased the WD caviar black 640gb. My question is do i keep my 80gb sataI as data storage? or sell it with my agp system as a whole instead of parting out?

It depends if you can find a use for it. If it was me I would find a use for it as I hate wasting HDD space, but to each his own.

Use it as dedicated OS drive then use the new drive for data.

Good one, use the old slower drive in a new build. When the hard drive is the slowest component to begin with...
...thanks for the chuckle!

Err, not in this case, as the new drive is much faster.

I'd say partition the new 640 GB (smaller part for OS, etc.), & keep the 80 GB as backup for your most important stuff.

I would part out your AGP box and keep the 1.5/gb for pic storage and older games. Did your external 250 die yet?
