worth it to upgrade from Ti4400 to 9600xt for ~$20

I currently have a ti4400, actually its a ti4800se but I'll leave it as the 4400 becasue thats what most people know it as. The only difference between the 4400 and the 4800se is that the 4800se supports agp8x. The card is factory overclocked to 275/600 so its a bit faster than the average 4400. I can get the 9600xt and then sell off my ti4800se but I really don't know if the gains are worth it.

for $20 I would do it. You can get DX9 effects in HL-2.
