Worth it to risk DFI-NF4 Ultra-D

Is it worth it to go ahead and take a risk and order the NF4 Ultra-D. I've heard that alot of people are having trouble getting it up and running. Does newegg allow exchange for another product?

No exchange on mobo's for other mobo's, only for the same model. The "risk" is fairly minimal, you see it a lot on forums since most people don't post, "My DFI Ultra-D is fine, no news to give." You only really tend to see, "OMG, my mobo is dead!!! I hate DFI!!!!"

If you get ram thats on DFI's compatible ram list, you should be fine. I bought HyperX before I bought my mobo, when it was on sale, and it hates my mobo. Won't run 1:1.

If your dead set on overclocking then you might want to risk the DFI. If all you want is a good MoBo then the Asus boards are rock solid and you shouldn't have an trouble getting it up and running.

Had mine over 3 weeks, 1st batch from ZZF.. No problems at all, check sig for componets.

I put mine together Saturday night. No problems at all!!
Used the 3/10 BIOS, loaded optimized defaults, turned it on and all was good 🙂
I used a 3000 Winchester, 2x512 Corsair Value RAM, Gigabyte 6600GT, Enermax Noisetaker 485W. Be sure to plug all 4 power connectors to the motherboard.
