Worth it to install SSD on Windows XP Tablet with only recovery discs?

I was asked if it was worth it to install an SSD in a table that only comes with recovery disks.
Since the disks will not allow proper alignment, I was wondering how much would an SSD help? Or could I still align the disk after doing the image recovery?

Any help?

SSD would help alot - and you can align but honestly the newer drives aren't as affected anything with XP tablet probably is old school sata-1 or pata to sata bridge so you are talking limited performance and overall lifespan. when did they stop that version 2006?

I think that version was still out til Windows 7.
Without trim, would the drive just get slower and slower? Would it be necessary to reload often?
