Worth it to drop $80 and up my BP6 400s to 533?

Is it worth it for me to spend 80 bucks or so and swap my cel 400s for 533s? Yeah I know the 66 mhz bus is the limiting factor, but will I see a fairly substantial increase in responsiveness? And I don't really feel like overclocking, in my experience it causes me more problems than the performance increase is worth.

I dont think its worth it specially since you can get durons for less than half that. Plus a cheap board.

Its not worth it, but if you could swap your 400's for overclockable 366@550's then it would be good.

IMHO not a good buy. Stick with the one you got until you are ready to really revamp the whole system or at least get an improvement that doubles you clock speed.

Dude by your pluralization i guess it's safe to say you have a dual board huh? Cuz if not i was going to say where would you get a celery 533 for 80 bux when you could get a 800 for 80 bux. But i guess that 80 was for 2 huh?

BP6 is a great setup. I shouldn't have sold mine. :(

True if all else were equal. But I don't feel like taking a celeron out of my system, and celerons are like 40+ bucks!

Yeah BP6 is a dual PPGA celeron only board, it won't do SMP with anything else besides PPGA celerons.

yeah at first the mobo had huge teething problems, but mine is very stable these days! *knocks on wood*
