Worth it to crossfire 4890s?

I currently have an XFX Radeon HD 4890. I'm going to be moving it from my C2D rig into an AMD PhenomII X4 (970 or 975 Black Edition) rig. I'll be using an MSI 890FXA-GD70, 2 x 16x slots. I have an OCZ ModXStream 780W, so I think I should have enough power.

My main question revolves around whether or not it will be worth it. My resolution is 1680x1050. I typically play shooters and the like. I likely would not be spending more than $70 on a second 4890.

I would appreciate any advice and a few polite opinions.

No reason not to. They are still fully supported by the latest drivers. Performance should be excellent. I'm also still running 48xx series hardware and have not been let down yet.
