No. My last two PSUs were Seasonic. However, Corsair is darn good and there is no reason to upgrade a two-year old power supply that is not failing. You'll never recover your cost for increases in efficiency and your machine will not be more reliable. Wait until it starts to fail or your next build.
And its 100% modular. But is it worth it....
The Corsair he has is Seasonic as well.

Spend the $140 on games instead
Yup. The first HX models were all Seasonic units that were re-badged and perhaps had some Corsair modifications to it. Main PSU parts though are Seasonic.
Newer Corsairs are not Seasonic units.
I'll stick with my corsair 🙂
the newer HX are not Seasonic.
You mean your Seasonic?
AFAIK the HX650 is a Seasonic.
Indeed, that's a Seasonic model as well. I should've said not all HX models are made by Seasonic anymore.
HX650: Seasonic
HX750: CWT
HX850: CWT
zod96 said:Their has been a nice buzzing noise coming from my system the last few months, and I chalked it up to the video card. Well I have a new one now, a xfx 6950. And it does the exact same buzzing noise when doing anything 3d. So I opened the case to listen and low and behold it was coming from the PSU. Its very annoying and loud. How long does a replacement unit from corsair usually take? This PSU is about 3 years old maybe a bit more..
