Just wondering if it has better performance\stablity then the P3V4X.

Also, hows overclocking on the CUSL2? Right now im at 5x146 on my P3V4X, but I know my chip can do 5x160 (Did it on another mobo, was really scared of blowing up my AGP and PCI slots though)

No real difference really. More FSBs to choose from on the CUSL2, but you have to be prepared to put up with some of its strange quirks. POST seems a lot faster on the CUSL2 though.

At 160, AGP speed is 80 and PCI is 40. Not too bad, but really pushing it. I wouldn't be comfortable running much higher.

If you want even better overclocked stability on your P3V4X, put a heatsink on the ICS clock generator chip, located at the bottom of the 4th DIMM slot, since it gets very hot.

This is my story... with my P3V4X and a certain Celeron II 533a that I have would overclock to about 920mhz 1.8 tops. I got a new CUSL2 and installed the same componets & processor (other than the IWill II slocket, BTW tried several other too...) in the new board and can run up to 1Ghz in Win98SE (a little shakey but is solid at 960mhz) so you tell me??? Not that the P3V4X is bad but it just wont do what this CUSL2 will. Now I have a P3 700e @1Ghz "1.65 volts" ROCK SOLID!!! I took a chance it payed off very well and thats my story and I`m stick`in to it... Good luck either way...
