I have a Dell 8 7840 with a beautiful OLED screen that's been a paper weight for... over a year due to broken charging port, a common issue.
I really only ever use/want a tablet to watch videos on a plane or in bed, which the OLED screen was perfect for. For 40 bucks plus shipping I can send to some guy on ebay who made a whole video of him repairing one.
Would i be better off just getting some cheap Amazon fire tablet though? This Dell is probably stuck on some ancient version of android. Its really all about this screen though, which I certainly can't find in a tablet these days. Well maybe I could for ~20x more than $40.
