Worth buying Killing Floor?

I have looked at the gameplay videos and screenshots of the game Killing Floor, and it looks pretty good and fun. It is $20 on steam and I was thinking about buying it.

Just wondering, is this game worth buying? Anybody here played this game yet?

Eh... in it's current state: not really.

It's decently fun alright, but there is absolutely no depth at all to the gameplay.

Gameplay consists of this:

-Start with pistols. Kill first wave of zombies.
-Go to trader buy better weapons.
-Kill second wave of zombies (more and harder zombies each wave)
-Buy more ammo/better guns from trader.
-Kill third wave of zombies
-And so on.

No depth to it. You do the same thing over and over again. What this game needs is a variety of multiplayer game types and not just what's currently available. I realized I payed only $15 for this game, but it just lacks depth. The only two things keeping this game afloat is interest from L4D fans and the perk system. That's it.

That said, if you like mindlessly killing zombies over and over again, go for it, but it may get boring quickly.
