Worth buying badaboom for 8400M G??

My friend has a laptop "ASUS A8SC-X3"

After a deep search i found that 8400M G has 8 unified Pipelinesand the T5550 has 1.8ghz of power which would encode a h.264 file faster... ???

I can't imagine it would be faster than the CPU in this case.
