At that price,it beats anything else for the most part,i mean heck the cheapest 7750 on newegg is $90+shipping for what its worth get it.
The best deal under the sun on newegg in the $60 or lower price range is this Evga 9800gt http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130534 i know right, newegg still has the 9800gt listed and available.:awe: So that gtx460 is well worth the purchase.
I run 2 of these 1GB versions in sli and at 1920x1200 I run every game I own at max with only bf3 on high instead of ultra. The best value for money setup I have ever owned only cost me £300 brand new when I bought it.
Well, I ordered one. If I had more money available, I would have ordered several. Oh well.
Anyways, when was GTX460 released originally? I'm curious if my Gigabyte 1GB GTX460 OC WindForce card is still under warranty. I got two of them soon after the GTX460 was released ($180 on sale). Fans on both my card, and its twin, which I sold to a friend, are failing. (His was the better card of the two.)
If I can RMA the WindForce card(s), and get whatever newer GTX460 edition or maybe even a 560/560ti out of them, then I would happily give my friend the brand-new 2GB Palit version, and offer him a replacement warranty, and then RMA both WindForce cards. Then both my friend and myself would get upgrades, or at least, fully-working cards.
Great deal. Nothing, perhaps not even used cards, will compete at that price. I did see a 5870 sell for $100, but that was a 1GB model. I'd guess that SLI 460 2GB would be much better for 1200P+. They generally overclock pretty well also.
