Um, Super Bowl favorite Pats + World Series favored Sox + #4 Boston College + reformed Celtics >>>>> the lowly Lions, Tiger, Pistons, and Red Wings
Did you just call the Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings lowly? Shows how much you think you know about sports.

Tigers didn't make the playoffs this year and while they solid all year long they were hardly a threat to the Indians, the Pistons are past their prime with the aforementioned Celtics and Cavs leading the way in the East, and the Red Wings are going to do well in the regular season and get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

The Bruins lost to the worst D1 team in the nation and looked absolutely horrible out there, unable to seek revenge from last year's heart breaking loss to one of the most hated teams and head coaches out there.

The Trojans were also one half of one of the biggest upsets in NCAA history, and I think they were also the most favored team (40 points) to ever lose a game, possibly eliminating their BCS championship run.

And the LA Angels were swept out of the playoffs..

Not to mention the Mighty Ducks lost their 3rd game in 4 tries after winning the Stanely Cup last year..

This weekend was so bad, it beat the previous worst sports weekend in SoCal history which occurred in June, 1981 when the Red Sox eliminated the Angels in the ALCS, the Rams moved to St. Louis, Magic Johnson contracted HIV, Steve Garvey went to the Padres and A.C. Slater lost in a wrestling match to that dude from Valley High

1981? The Rams moved to St. Louis in 1995, and Magic Johnson announced that he was HIV positive in the early 90s.

sure those teams have been through lowly stretches, but you and I both know they will return to greatness. all i'm saying is that the D is a great sports town!
