Worst thing you've ever done to your pet?

Let's share the darkness inside all of us! So, last night my cat was being a douche - running into walls, biting my ankles, attacking my roommate.. Total, full on skitzo mode. I had the weird urge of throwing him in my laundry bag and I did it, waiting for him to calm down before letting him go. Felt kinda cruel in retrospect but wonder, what's the worst thing you've done to your pet?

Do we really need people to start bragging about animal cruelty?

There are laws against such things.

When I live with my ex he/we had a dog that liked to randomly bite me. I don't think his previous owner treated him nicely. So I slapped him when he bit me and broke my skin one day. I felt bad but it hurt.

I'm not saying but it involves peanut butter...and a lot of awkward stares from my dog every day after

Actually, after the dane chewed up my wallet, I smacked him with the wallet several times, yelled at him, then left him in his travel cage for a while with the chewed-up wallet in clear view. I was very sad to do it :(

I make my wife's fat little MinPin do laps around the coffee table before he gets dinner. He now thinks its a fun game. :)

I threw my cat in the pool before to see if she could swim. She could swim just fine, but she wasn't too happy about it.

I wonder why animals can instinctively swim and people can't; they have to learn.

When I was little I used to put my parakeets into an empty teapot I had to play with and put the lid on. They'd come out the spout headfirst, wiggling and biting their way out. It was funny to watch, but probably not that nice. They didn't really seem to mind though.

didn't do this on purpose, but we were about to feed our dog some doggie snacks...

we put the snacks on top of the glass kitchen table (while our dog was underneath it)...of course, he got all excited and jumped at the snacks and smacked his face on the bottom of the table...
