You do sort of have a point. Lucas should have taken all the money he spent adding stupid animals walking around the dessert in the special editions, and spent it on redoing the duel between Obi-wan and Vader instead. He also could have fixed up the space battle at the end of A New Hope, and made the ships look like they were actually flying.

They were all really good to me. Though I did enjoy the original IV - VI over the DVD versions.

I finally decided to watch the DVD versions of IV - VI and I now see what everyone was talking about how Lucas F*cked everything up. Even still it didn't really bother me THAT much until I got to ROTJ. The worse had to be when he made Sarlac have a beak!! WTF!!!?? That was just TERRIBLE!!! :|

The end where they showed Hayden Christensen as anakin's ghost instead of Sebastian Shaw was kind of cool, but it didn't really make much sense. Unless one were to say that is how Anakin looked before he turned to the Dark side and became a sith.

I probally won't watch the special DVD editions again, I have the absolute originals on VHS and when episode III comes on DVD, I will watch I - III, and then the ORIGINAL IV - VI!!

They originally planned to have Anakin as a teenager in the first film. They thought having a kid would make leaving his mother more dramatic. :roll:

They should have had Hayden in I as well. This would have allowed them to push up the timeline and Ep III wouldn't have been rushed.

I remember seeing episode II in the movies theatres and the crap people were saying about jar jar was hilarious. One guy kept on bashing jar jar in every scene he was in. I thought he was a little drunk at the time, but it was a midnight showing,so it was all good.

i would say the worst is also TPM also why wasn't Qui Gon Jin's ghost in any of IV-VI ??he should have showed up at the end of VI
