Come on!!! That's the second Kevin Costner movie you guys listed here. Postman wasn't that bad at all. Maybe it's just that you don't like these post-apocalyptic style movies.

I rather like post apocalyptic themes, be it in games, movies, or books, and Waterworld was ok I guess, but The Postman was just horrible.

depends what you mean, bad in how far a film falls from its potential or expectations... or simply uwe boll type bad. cuz the second type tends to be simply forgotten or blocked out.
