Of stuff I've seen recently.

Cabin Fever - really bad, horrible acting (this gets me more than just about anything), not scary, stupid, some decent nude scenes with the hottest chick in the movie, but I can just watch porn if I want that.

Dead Alive/Braindead - really gory zombie flick by Peter Jackson - supposedly really funny, a few scenes were mildy amusing, but overall was just a suck movie.
 
Leonard Part 6, starring Bill Cosby, was the worst movie I have ever seen in the theaters. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Queen of the Damned is the only movie I have ever walked out on because it was so bad. I usually have a pretty high tolerance for bad movies but it was just too much.
 
Hm, a few mentions for the thin red line, one of my favorite films. But I'm not alone on that... scorcese said it was the 2nd best film of the 90's, or at least was in the top 10.

Some movies are so bad that they are good. I'm not sure if those count.

I guess all things said and done, it might be crash. Motal Thoughts was also quite bad. Bless the Child is the one I have seen recently that comes to mind. In some settings, rocky horror picture show is the worst movie ever made. But I have too much affection for the cult following of it and it is somewhat fun to witness a showing of it in theatres.

The movie that is the most disappointingly bad is Barry Lyndon. It's not worse than any of the above films (except the thin red line), but I had expected so much better from kubrick. The film was so awful/disappointing that I actually stopped watching it, which is pretty rare for me, especially if it's a work by one of my favorite directors.

Agreed. I think it also helps to be a bit older to appreciate it (Don't know the age of the detractors here). It was not supposed to be funny (except for the cultural references and they were quite subtle). For those that did not like it, wait until you are married and have a couple of kids, then watch it again. You may see it from a different perspective.

My worst movies: Under the volcano (Albert Finney), Signs and the Julia Roberts movie where she is a care-giver for a guy with cancer.
