If you look here you will see my previous problem which was solved by switching RAM banks on the mobo. NOW all of a sudden while dling some beethoven songs from bbc it suddenly crashed with a flyby STOP error message which i didnt have time to read. It then told me it couldnt read disk and it hung up on the "verifying dmi pool data" thing. NOW after doing chkdsk through repair console in win xp I am getting "NTLDR is missing press ctrl alt del to restart" Never gonna build a computer again 🙁 unless i can fix this prob without reformatting...

Don't sweat it man, PCs have problems every once in a while. I'm no computer genius but I built my own PC and I've diagnosed and fixed a a bunch of little problems here and there. Don't give up.

don't let a little problem set you back...the only way you can learn is to keep on trying...you think everyone gets it right the first time...I mean besides me 🙂

Going to sound crazy but put your xp cd in but do not hit any key and the computer will boot again. Dont ask for me when I get that message it works. Once you get back on reformat in windows and selevt upgrade and should solve problem.
