yeah i love their cds, but they blow live...saw videos....
flea PWNS THE WORLD THOUGH!!! wow...
worst ive ever heard was Modest Mouse live on comedy central...WOW they were wasted

They play some of the best music out there, but I'm sad to say that Anthony is a less then average lead singer. The band more then makes up for anything he rattles out.

For worst, I would have to go with that chubby Osborne kid. They advertise Ozzy is going to be there, so they walk him out like a patient for a minute, then that kid starts screeching out some horrible stuff.

Strangely enough, at the same show, that band that the ex guy from smashing pumpkins started(Zwan?) came on & produced the single most irritating vocals ever. The pitch was excrutiatingly high & having 3 guitars couldn't muffle out the pain. Thank goodness they broke up soon after.

I have that myself. Don't get me wrong, they are my favorite band, they rock it out. It's just that they have 3 simply amazing musicians to go along with a so-so lead singer. I love the music.

LoL!

I saw Van Halen at the US festival and DLR was so drunk he couldn't even sing. I still have his JD bottle though from when he threw it into the crowd. :D

One of the most fun shows I'd seen was Van Hagar (Van Halen with Sammy). I saw them twice. Once for OU812 and once for For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. Both lots of fun.

G'n'R was another show that sucked. Mostly because we had to wait hours for Axl to bother to come on stage. Whiny little bitch. :| And hearing that Radiohead sucks is surprising.

I forgot the name of the band but I think they were doing covers, very badly, of Foghat hits. I write I think because they were so bad and their sound system was worst.

Hmmm when I saw them they were fantastic. They opened for the Stones and J Giels band and IMO showed both of those groups up big time! Sount like iut might have been a ill adjusted PA system that was at fault for your experience. That can make any vgood band sound bad.

Psychotica was the worst. The lead singer came out wearing what looked like a body condom and then continued to not rock hard. Third Eye Blind was pretty terrible as well, mostly because they sounded terrible, but compounded by the fact that they didnt even bother saying thanks to the concert crew after everyone was gone. I was working as a concert hand at the time for college, Tonic opened for Third Eye Blind and sounded fantastic... and also came out to say hello and thanks to us afterwards, then went out to the Bar with some of the other workers... 3EB did their crappy set then ran away to their bus because they're too good for you.

2. Iron Maiden / Dio / Motorhead... Maybe I was too hammered, but the crowd was INSANE and it was the most fun I've had in the last 2 years.
3. Pantera / White Zombie / Deftones - All 3 rocked my socks off.
4. Dillinger Escape Plan - Pulled it off perfectly live
5. GWAR / Badacidtrip / Throwdown
6. Sparta / Small Brown Bike / Cave In
7. Korn / Rob Zombie / Rammstein

I saw Incubus I think sometime in 1999. They rocked HARD.

Worse show..easy, Journey with that light in the loafers lamer Steve Perry. They opened for David Bowie and it was the first time that Fembo Perry was singing lead instead of Greg Rollie.

Best show, the Lollapalooza tour with RHCP headlining. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and many more great acts plus the Jim Rose Freak Show featuring Mr. Lifto!

Saw them open up for (Hed)p.e. and P.O.D. Before Linkin Park's first video hit MTV, and right before their album was released.

P.O.D. sucked too, but I went to see Hed.

They were acting like they were the $hit, when they totally weren't established... and they couldn't hit vocal pitch for the life of them. Obviously once the video hit they got vocal training and whatnot.

The backup vocal dude (not chester) had purple hair at the time and was trying to act all hard in the mosh pit for (Hed)p.e. but in actuality he is like 5'6" and 120 lbs. Needless to say my 6'3" 225 lb (at the time) ass knocked him to the ground when he came at me. Now he's a millionare. Fvck. lol.

2nd worst band I've seen: Snake River Conspiracy when they opened for A Perfect Circle.
3rd worst: Agnostic Front the other night opening for Hatebreed.
4th worst: Underoath opening for Coheed & Cambria
5th worst: Die Trying. I forgot who they opened for, but they wrecked the show.

And before you write me off for saying Link Park sucked hard, make a note that I've been to over 100 shows. I'm amazed I'm not deaf by now, lol.

 for hed p.e. and DEP.

Worst band I've ever seen was this local metal band. They were just terrible. No crowd interaction and they blew through the entire set. No pauses between songs, just straight playing. It was kinda hard to tell one song from another.

to credit the band (George Thorogood ATD), it wasn't so much their playing that sucked, it was the sound system (which completely ruined the whole show). It easily comes to mind when thinking of "worst concert experience"

.....also, let me add A Perfect Circle to the "great" list
