Uggh, I *finally* got out of bed an hour ago to eat something cuz my stomach was empty. Been in bed since about 11:30PM last night. I have no idea what's wrong with me but this is the sickest I have *EVER* been. Lets recap:
Thursday afternoon:
- random spells of dizziness. I left work at about 4:30 PM or so, came home, took a nap, felt fine after.
Friday:
- woke up, felt like shiyat. Figured I have some sort of one-day fever (always happens once during winter and I've been overdue.) Dizziness much worse, sharp pain above my eyes, behind my ears if I move my head around. Took a late shower and while I was in the shower had a bad cold spell (turned the water temp to boiling and I still felt cold.) Went back to bed after shower, woke up in the evening to eat and watch a movie, felt better.
Today:
Couldn't get out of bed. Dad tried to feed me and I couldn't eat. I smelled funny (I'm serious, my sweat smelled like nothing I've ever smelled before. Alternating periods of burning up under the covers with a cold sweat, and cold spells where I'm freezing and asking for more blankets. Deep breaths cause me to cough. Temperature shows 103.5. Head is POUNDING...can't keep my eyes open even with all lights turned off. High degree of light sensitivity. Called my uncle, who's a doctor. He asked me to put my head all the way down and touch my chin to my chest, and tell him what it felt like. I could BARELY do it...and I told him how I felt. He said if I don't feel better tomorrow I should go to the emergency room (great, there goes my superbowl party plans) and that this could be a very bad viral infection.
I think I'm dying 🙁
